hospitality at his beautiful ranch. Choose from a 3 day
4 night package. Or, for a more intensive program, a 5
day 6 night intensive training package will give you the
equivalent of three 3 day clinics in only 5 days.

What are my options
at the Leon Harrel Training Center?
Here in Springtown, the focus is on
highly personalized training and coaching for riders
and their horses. Training goals are accomplished by
advancing horsemanship skills while simultaneously
educating riders on the intricacies of cattle control.
Training sessions are conducted throughout the week,
they are approximately 2 or 4 hours in length depending
on the program you select.
Our
Mission: The sole purpose and focus of the Leon Harrel
Training Center is to develop riders’ confidence in
their horsemanship and cutting skills. We provide
individuals with training and coaching at an
unprecedented level in this industry.
Lengthy training sessions give riders a significant
amount of Leon's personal attention and herd time. A
full day of training with Leon Harrel includes
approximately 4-5 hours of herd-work and cutting horse
training. Once you mount up and the cattle are brought
in, Leon will evaluate your skill level, and then
introduce you to the herd for your training session to
begin. You will work cattle for the rest of the day. You
will cut and actually work an average of 15-20 head of
cattle per day.
Our most popular programs are our Comprehensive
Personal Training Packages.
The 3 day/4night package provides a minimum of 12
hours of one on one personal attention and working time
with Leon.
The 5 day/6night package provides you with a
minimum of 20 hours of training, for the most
significant results in a short period of time.
From approximately 9am-1pm you will work with cattle
alongside Leon, giving you approximately 4+ hours of
“one on one” training per day. Finished cutting horses
are utilized in addition to your own horse. Leon will
select the perfect cure for whatever ails you. We’ve
recruited our own former show horses to train you on and
they are excellent teachers as well as a pleasure to
ride.
We are conveniently located 30 minutes from downtown Ft.
Worth, Weatherford, and Decatur. These packages include
lodging and hospitality here at the ranch in one of our
beautiful guest suites. Breakfast and lunch are provided
for you at our favorite local eateries.
It is very easy to accomplish a great deal in a short
period of time here at the Center.
Pricing:
Individual Days: No lodging included Full Day (4+hrs) is
$500.
3 day/4 night (4th night is optional/free) The fee for
this package is $2000.
5 day/6 night (6th night is optional/free) The fee for
this package is $3250.
